Pol Tarrés (born 1993) is a Spanish professional motorcycle rider specializing in extreme enduro and hard adventure riding.

Starting his career in trial competitions, he later transitioned to hard enduro and started pushing his Yamaha Ténéré 700 beyond conventional limits in the first the Seeker movie that was published in 2020.

The film became a huge success, amassing over 3 million views and propelling Pol to global fame. 

In 2021, Pol and his team looked for more suspension travel and performance because the OEM Shock was not able to cope with his extreme riding.

They acquired a +25mm extended-travel rear shock from our partner Rally Raid Products, which we produce for them. This upgrade significantly improved the suspension performance of Pol’s Yamaha Ténéré 700, enabling him to elevate his riding to the next level.

After a successful season with his Rally Raid Products by TracTive shock, Pol visited our headquarters in 2022.

Following a focused development period, we upgraded the rear shock to a new TracTive Suspension version featuring revised settings and a larger reservoir for improved oil cooling and performance.

Shortly thereafter, this exact shock was made available to our customers as well.

Our rear shock absorber proved exceptionally durable and high-performing, earning a place—in a stealth black-and-white version—on the official Yamaha Ténéré Rally Team bikes throughout the 2022, 2023, and 2024 seasons.

Pol won the 2024 Morocco Desert Challenge in only his 2nd season of Rally racing.

Our shock has undergone some serious punishment during the filming of Seeker 3 in Morocco.

The film included several high-impact jumps, where the suspension’s performance proved critical.

These big jumps have contributed to the movie’s success, now exceeding 500,000 views.

Pol Tarrés set a world record in March 2024 by reaching an altitude of 6,677 meters (21,899 feet) on a Yamaha Ténéré World Raid GYTR. He achieved the feat on Ojos del Salado, the world’s highest active volcano in the Andes, establishing the highest altitude ever reached on a twin-cylinder motorcycle and redefining the limits of adventure riding.
