KEY FEATURES
ENHANCED STABILITY AND CONTROL
The eX-Treme rear shock includes a high flow 46mm piston while the Closed Cartridge kit features a big 35mm piston, the largest piston among all aftermarket suspension suppliers.
In addition to facilitating a high oil flow, these piston sizes enable stable and well-controlled damping behavior.
ADJUSTABLE COMPRESSION AND REBOUND DAMPING
BMW 1000 XR riders can manually fine-tune their high + low speed compression and rebound settings on the rear and preload on the front to suit their individual preferences and riding style, whether carving through twisty roads or aiming for the apex on the track.
HIGH-QUALITY CONSTRUCTION
Each component of the suspension kit is crafted from CNC machined premium materials, ensuring durability, reliability, and long-lasting performance even in the most demanding conditions. All TracTive products are fully serviceable and include a 2 year warranty.
DYNAMIC DAMPING ADJUSTMENT
The eX-TREME rear shock absorber and cartridge kit for the BMW 1000 XR contain the TracTive DDA damping valve (Dynamic Damping Adjustment). The BMW control unit does not notice electrical differences between the original damping valve and the TracTive DDA damping valve.
However, the TracTive DDA valve is more stable, has a larger adjustment range and adjusts damping in just 6-10 milliseconds.
LOW RIDE HEIGHT OPTION
The Cartridges and rear shock absorber are available in low -30mm, factory low(S 1000 XR) or normal ride height. Offering ample choices to accommodate riders of all types and sizes.
PRECISE PRELOAD ADJUSTMENT
The rear shock absorber is available with Electronic (S 1000 XR only) or Hydraulic Preload Adjuster(HPA). The HPA can be precisely adjusted with 10 mm adjustment range.
PLUG & PLAY INSTALLATION
This eX-TREME Suspension kit fits plug & play into the BMW S/M 1000 XR with the original connectors. This ensures that the original suspension modes remain operational.
There is no need for a cancelation kit or any other modification to the motorcycle or its wiring harness.
A non-electronic X-TREME Suspension kit is also available.
BLACK & WHITE EDITION
The eX-TREME Suspension kit is also available in a special Black & White Edition.
In this special edition, every adjustable element essential for fine-tuning the suspension setup is anodized with a deep black finish. These stealthy suspension components seamlessly blend with your motorcycle’s aesthetic, regardless of its color scheme.
Because it needs to be specially produced on order, this special Black & White edition will cost an additional €40 ex VAT on top of the RRP.
